Welcome to mitchmen gateway

Welcome to mitchmen.com, home of Mitchell's Gay Art.

This is my permanent gateway site.
I usually post here once a month, art and photos in praise of male beauty, strictly vanilla.
There's a link in the sidebar to a small public gallery of vanilla drawings by me (gallery last updated Feb 2019).
If you have problems with the link please read this notice.

You can find my more intense and frank work via my regular 'mitchmen' blog
(where I show my own pictures mixed with articles on other gay artists and images that excite me).

There's a 'Gallery Hub ' tab at that blog which has onward links to:-
- All the official mitchmen galleries,
- The mitchmen mailing list (for the latest pictures and stories)
- The permanent mitchmen archive at Adonis Male.

I welcome comments from visitors but please avoid adult references,
I can't approve remarks which are not consistent with the vanilla format of this site
and unfortunately I can't edit your contributions!

Thank you for your interest and support.
Mitchell (Jul 2026).

Wrapped in Celluloid

Wrapped in Celluloid (Photographer not known)

An interesting picture from more than one point of view.
The technical treatment given to the image has produced some delightfully soft contours around the models face. The interaction between him and the film strip and the cigarette are equally illusory but that doesn't detract from it's impact

Problem with links at mitchmen

What Now Boss?
If you arrive at this site via the 'mitchmen.com' address the gallery link in the right sidebar may not work properly, but just display a blank page instead and freeze. I think this is connected with the redirect instruction on the domain name. The problem doesn't happen if you use the mitchmen2.blogspot address to get here.
.
The work around is to click on this gallery link.
(Link verified 1st Feb 2019)
 .
If anyone can advise me of a more elegant solution I'd be glad to hear from you!
Likewise if you still have problems let me know (via comments)

Up for Inspection

Sergei by Vitaly Shiryaev

I have a thing about swimming trunks and also about the power photographers have to get their models to do things which they wouldn't dream of doing in real life. Like this pose where Sergei seemingly offers up himself for a hands on inspection. His expression doesn't suggest he's looking forward to it. It's nice to see Russian artists taking their place in the global family, let's hope that silly man in the Kremlin doesn't mess it all up for them.

You 'orrible shower!

Dillon Parkes

This image ties in with a couple of themes at this blog of which the most obvious is the watery theme, nicely capturing the thorough drenching of the model. The arms held up in the air allows the interesting speculation for darker minds that this is not a routine hygiene routine but some sort of hazing or punishment under restraint. The curious off-centre cropping helps by creating the impression of an unplanned moment not deliberately posed for publication.

The second theme picked up here is the '15 minutes of fame'. The picture that is the highlight of a model's career. Actually Dillon is a successful model with a disappointing penchant for being photographed with women, but this memorable homoerotic image that pops up everywhere seems to be a unique classic. Searching through his published pictures I have found nothing to match it and discovered that his normal appearance is a good deal more boyish than this picture suggests. Oh well, maybe in a few years.......

Thor's Hammer

This is a truly masculine image, stereotypical perhaps but I'm not complaining about that!
It's a great example of how simple clothing, like the humble T-shirt can showcase the body,
in this case by demonstrating and emphasising the size of his biceps
- and far more more effectively than a mere tape measure ever could.

The inexplicable watery downpour highlights the muscular details of his arms
and has caused the wet T-shirt to produce a terrific sunray pattern around his shoulders.

At the risk of being picky, I might question whether the pile of whatever it is he is hitting (ice perhaps?) is a worthy target, it don't look that solid!

I can't credit the model or the photographer unfortunately,
if anyone knows who they are please add a comment to the post

Cute and Muscley

Ben Mcavinew

Cute faces and muscular torso's don't always suit each other
but this chap is a notable exception.
Chunky arms emerging from snug-fitting Tee shirts are a favourite motif for me.

Belted Trunks

Swimming Trunks with belts incorporated into them have always hit my button. It's one of those incongruous combinations that makes the mind grope for an explanation. In the days before lycra and water repellent fabrics they actually served a purpose - preventing wet cotton and flannel trunks from sagging under the weight of water to an immodest degree. With modern fabrics the ubiquitous drawstring is man enough to fulfil the same role, but belts provide a showy fashion alternative.
No ID on the model yet, info welcome
